+ Solutions Engineer

Description

As a talented Solutions Engineer, your desire to obtain a deep understanding of markets and solving customer problems drives your work. You work with customers and the product team to define requirements and develop new product prototypes and product features.

In this Washington, DC-based job, you report to the Director of Solutions Engineering and work closely with our Sales and Business Development teams to develop solutions that delight our customers. You’ll also coordinate with client developers on integration, testing, and product deployment processes. Developing initial proofs of concepts and wooing potential clients is your goal.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability building and managing relationships with external partners and customers and a record bringing clients from discovery, through close, to successful implementation.
  • 3+ years experience working as a Sales Engineer/Technical Sales Rep including the creation and presentation of product demonstrations and proofs of concept.
  • 1+ years experience in Java and/or Python.
  • Self-motivated team player with an entrepreneurial, innovative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Daily business development experience and account management success.
  • 5+ years experience working as a Sales Engineer/Technical Sales Rep including the creation and presentation of product demonstrations and proofs of concept.
  • 3+ years experience in Java and/or Python.
  • Familiarity with working in a test-driven development environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 10 percent.
  • Based in or around Washington, DC.
